Some of the adaptions that we have made in order to adhere to social distancing rules.

Covid 19 updated safety protocol

Check-in

For those people who don't wish to walk inside a public area such as our shop, there is the option to be served from the door. Instructions are visible from the window to assist with socially distanced queuing.

Cafe

The cafe, which is also the normal check-in area is now one way. The seating has also been significantly reduced to improve social distancing.

Boats

The boats now include a screen which separates customers who are close seated. It is built using springs so that it fits under bridges. Boats are now be limited to one group per row of seats. Face to face you will always be at least 1.5 meters from other groups, however, feet will be closer.

Cleaning

Boats and handrails are now cleaned between customer groups. Hand gel is available throughout the booking-in and boarding processes.

PPE

Staff wear gloves and visors during periods when they come within one meter of customers.

Hand sanitizer is used between customer groups.

Groups of more than 6 people

Reservations of more than 6 passengers will be treated as separate groups of 6 or less. This means that you will be seated in separate compartments or socially distanced, however where possible we will seat you all in the same craft.  It is your responsibility to adhere to COVID 19 rules and before and after your tour. When queuing for check-in please adhere to social distancing as set out within our shop, its recommended that just one person from each group comes inside whilst the rest wait outside.
